Step 1. Client Requirements and Initial Design Incorporation

At the beginning of the furniture manufacturing process, turii understood the client’s requirements. Several key aspects are considered, focusing on creating a drawing room that aligns with the client’s vision. The company asks questions about the desired wall type, ceiling preferences (such as PU or wooden), loose items, plasma unit style, and flooring choices. Additionally, clients often share their favorite designs through presentations or images, enabling the design team to grasp their aesthetic preferences.

In some cases, architects may be involved, in presenting a conceptual design. During this collaboration, turii’s designers offer insights into what is feasible and what may pose challenges based on the architect’s proposed concept. Instead of starting from scratch, the designers incorporate the designs provided by the client or architect in 2D form, serving as the foundation for the subsequent steps.

Step 2 – Design Refinement and Client Approval

After receiving the initial design inputs, turii’s designers work on refining and developing the designs further. They create a sample design work to present to the client, giving them a tangible representation of the envisioned furniture. Client feedback plays a pivotal role at this stage, as the design is continuously refined based on their inputs. Sometimes, clients may provide designs that are not practical or feasible, and the designers provide valuable suggestions on what is achievable and what may not be.

Once the client approves the final design, turii proceeds with preparing the base work and sends it to the site. This involves getting accurate measurements of the actual site and meticulously observing any physical differences between the design and the site. Any issues or gaps identified during this phase are promptly addressed and filled to ensure a seamless fit during installation.

Step 3 – Material Selection and Carpentry Work Commencement

While approving the design, clients also discuss various material aspects such as laminates, finishes, profiles, hardware, accessories, sizes, thicknesses, and widths etc. This comprehensive discussion ensures that all necessary details are finalized before proceeding with the carpentry work.

Once every aspect is thoroughly discussed and approved by the client, the design is forwarded to the carpentry section. Turii’s designers collaborate closely with the carpentry team to bring the approved design to life. The carpentry work involves creating fixed furniture components like paneling, ceilings, wardrobes, vanity units, and kitchen elements. Attention to detail, precision, and adherence to the design specifications are critical in this phase.

Step 4 – Development Cycle and Final Touches

The complete development cycle of the millwork procedure encompasses various stages. It begins with the client providing a basic design or image, followed by turii’s designers incorporating it into a 2D format. The base work is then carried out at the site, with turii’s representatives conducting measurements to ensure accurate implementation.

Adjustments are made to the design based on the actual site construction, considering any differences that may arise. The final design is then presented to the client for their ultimate approval. At this stage, material selections, laminates, finishes, and other finer details are discussed and finalized.

Once the client gives the final go-ahead, the carpentry work begins. turii’s team ensures that all aspects of the furniture manufacturing process, including packaging, transportation, and installation, are meticulously executed. Any visible damages that may have occurred during transportation or installation are addressed, and the site is handed over to the client, showcasing the successful completion of the project.
